Independent guide

About Lien Letter Guide

Lien Letter Guide is a small independent website explaining what lien letters are, how to check the records behind them, and what questions to ask. It exists because searching an official-sounding name on a letter tends to return marketing pages rather than plain explanations.

What this site is

An informational reference. Every page tries to do one thing: help you tell the difference between a document, a claim, and a sender, and point you at the official office that can confirm the record.

What this site is not

  • Not a law firm, and not legal advice. Lien rules vary by state and lien type; only a licensed attorney in the relevant state can advise on your situation.
  • Not a court, a recorder’s office, or any government agency.
  • Not a lien-removal, credit-repair, or debt-settlement service.
  • Not a review site. We publish no ratings, no testimonials, no accreditation badges, and no verdicts that a company is “legitimate” or otherwise.

Things we will not do

  • Guarantee that a lien can be removed, reduced, or resolved.
  • Tell you a specific letter is genuine or fake — we cannot see your letter.
  • Publish private notice URLs, access codes, account numbers, or any real recipient’s details. If someone sends us those, we do not use them.
  • Invent authors, credentials, case studies, or statistics.

How this site is funded

Lien Letter Guide is self-funded and carries no advertising, sponsored placements, or affiliate links. We do not collect or sell leads, and no company can pay for coverage or for changes to how it is described.

Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, we want to fix it. Our editorial policy sets out how pages are sourced, dated, and corrected, and the privacy page covers what this site does and does not collect.

Publisher

Lien Letter Guide is published independently at lienletterguide.com. Pages are reviewed and dated when the underlying sources are checked; company descriptions are attributed to the company’s own published material.
